Abstract
I will discuss non-perturbative quantum gravity effects relevant in the early universe cosmology. We will study two-dimensional toy models of inflation and discover that geometries that connect the bra with the ket of the wave function of the universe, bra-ket wormholes, have to be included for consistency of the models. This has potential consequences for basic cosmological observables, like the power spectrum of primordial fluctuations.
