Abstract
In this talk, we will revisit recent works of T. Tao, V. Vu and others on large non-hermitian random matrices with independent and identically distributed entries. We will explain the general strategy behind this class of problems. As a byproduct, we will explain why the generalized eigenvalues distribution of two independent matrices converges almost surely to the uniform measure on the Riemann sphere.
