Abstract
My work focuses on understanding how vitamin D modulates the immune system, particularly in the context of autoimmunity. The talk will focus on my recent research which has examined the effects vitamin D has on T cell activation using a novel dendritic cell driven murine model of CNS autoimmunity. In addition, I will discuss some of my recent clinical studies which have explored vitamin D metabolism in a range of spontaneous diseases in companion animals.
