Abstract
Many of the events occurring at the LHC require a description in terms of a hard process involving many final-state particles. Obtaining the necessary scattering amplitudes with many external legs poses a computational challenge, in particular if one would like to achieve higher order precision in perturbative QCD . I will present several techniques developed over the last two decades in this context.
