Abstract
SAXS is a quick & easy technique that can give structural information about a macromolecule. However, it is extremely sensitive to sample quality. In addition, because of the limited amount of data, SAXS is also prone to being over interpreted and can easily lead to incorrect models. Therefore, I will discuss how to collect high quality SAXS data, how to discriminate โgoodโ data from โbadโ data, and how to get useful structural information out of a single SAXS curve.
